Graduation Information

Outdoor graduation ceremonies that are lightly attended mitigate Coronavirus transmission risk, but additional guidelines may further reduce the risk. The purpose of these guidelines are to assist sites with reducing risk to staff, students, and guests.  Handwashing stations will be placed at the entrances.  Hand sanitizer will be placed in strategic locations in the venue.  Masks will be provided for all staff, students, and guests who do not have face coverings.  


General Guidelines for Students, Staff, and Guests


  • Maintain a minimum of 6 feet of physical distance between themselves and others outside their home.
  • People who are at higher risk of getting very sick should not participate:
    • People 65 years and older
    • People who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility
    • People who have underlying medical conditions, particularly if not well controlled
    • People who have had COVID-19 Symptoms in the prior three days or who came in contact with someone who have COVID-19 in the last 14 days should not participate.
  • Staff, students, and guests should wear face coverings (Masks will be provided to anyone who needs one)
  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a face cover, a tissue, or the inside of the elbow.
  • Wash hands for 20 seconds or longer or use hand sanitizer prior to attending and after. (Handwashing stations and hand sanitizer will be at the venue.)
  • People should avoid touching their face with unwashed hands.

General Information

Graduates and their two guests should arrive by 7:30 PM, gates will open at 7:15 PM.

Graduates and their two guests will enter the campus through the South side rolling gate.

Graduates and guests will enter the stadium through the NW gate (Snack bar).

The first two rows will be reserved for First In Class graduates.

The row following the First In Class graduates will be reserved for our Special Education students.

The row following our Special Education students will be reserved for staff members who have a graduating Senior.

Remaining graduates and guests seating will be first come, first served.

Graduates must write their name on the name card provided.  PRINT First and Last name.  Also PRINT name phonetically.  

Graduates will be excused by row, walk in a single file line to the reader podium and give the name card to the reader. Guests will remain at their seat.  

Graduates will walk across the stage as their name is being read to receive their diploma cover.  

Graduates will then walk behind the stage to take a graduation picture and then return to their seat from the same side of the row from which they left.  

In efforts to maintain social distancing, we kindly remind Graduates and guests that congregating after the ceremony has concluded will not be allowed.

Students will wear their cap and gown and may also wear any school earned regalia.  Be aware that you will be walking on the field and up and down the stage so appropriate shoes are necessary.  Students will be allowed to decorate or put a positive message on their caps.

Please do not bring noise makers, balloons, flowers, etc. into the stadium.
