Trick or Treat for Cans

Over the last two nights, Stockdale FFA and Link Crew partnered up for our Trick-or-Treat for Cans community service activity! Students spent the last two nights traveling through the neighborhoods surrounding our school, collecting non-perishable food items to help those in need right here in our Bakersfield community.

Last week, students went door-to-door to canvas the neighborhoods, leaving bags and flyers to let residents know we would be coming back to collect donations. Thanks to the generosity of our surrounding community and the hard work of our students, we collected over 1,000 non-perishable food items!

Stockdale High welcomed members of the Bakersfield community to campus on October 14th. Community members were treated to performances by our fine arts students, classroom visits and conversations about all the amazing things happening at Stockdale. We're grateful for the great community support!

US News Names Stockdale a Best High School

Stockdale High School earned high National and metro-area rankings in 2026-2027 Best High Schools, which U.S. News released this morning. Here is your school’s updated U.S. News profile page, with details about its rankings: https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/california/districts/kern-high-school-district/stockdale-high-school-2398.
By earning a national ranking in the top 40%, Stockdale High School achieved status as a U.S. News Best High School.
