Stockdale Graduate wins Front Royal Cup at MSU

Bakersfield native Glen Scully leads Michigan State University to its first Front Royal Cup debate win. Stockdale High School alumnus helped propel Michigan State University to its historic first victory in the prestigious Front Royal Cup for debate.

Winning the Front Royal Cup is a high honor within the American Debate Association. The season-long achievement signifies elite consistency and dominance in the circuit.

Academic Decathalon Team Goes to State

Please join us in congratulating our incredible Acadec team, who brought home the hardware from the state competition. 55 teams from all over California, and we suited up and showed up (literally!).

Eleven individual medals, second place in Super Quiz, and third place in our division. We are so proud of them all!

Stockdale State Wrestling Qualifiers and Placers

Congratulations to this year's CIF State Wrestling Qualifiers and Placers. Nathiel Nava is the first male placer in Stockdale's history and Kamila Cerna placed for the second year in a row. With Nathiel and Kamila both being sophomores, the future of Stockdale Wrestling looks bright.

Monday Early Out Cancellations

The KHSD typcially banks extra minutes to account for two fog delays a year. Due to one extra fog delay, district admin agreed with the teacher association that all school sites (except for Kern Valley), will not be on a one hour early out and will instead have a regular bell schedule on the following dates:

The Stockdale Academic Decathalon Team placed first in Kern County and will participate in the state competition in March. 7 of the top 9 scores were Stockdale Students. Congratulations to Coach Scully and her team on an amazing achievement.
