CRITERIA FOR SELECTING HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Individuals may be nominated for induction into The Stockdale High School Hall of Fame in one or more of four categories. The categories are included on the nomination form for expediency in understanding the primary area(s) in which a nominated individual has distinguished himself or herself, so as to deserve inclusion in the Athletic Hall of Fame. The groupings are for screening purposes to assist those making the nomination in understanding the type of information requested.
The nominee, if an alumnus/alumna, must have graduated at least five (5) years prior to induction
- ATHLETE/TEAM: Any person or team who distinguished himself/herself/themselves in the field of athletics while a student at Stockdale High School. Criteria may include but are not limited to accomplishments in multiple sports, record setting performances, All-League, All-Area, All-State and All-American recognition.
- ALUMNUS/ALUMNA: Any person who distinguished himself/herself in the field of athletics after graduation from Stockdale High School. This may include outstanding college accomplishments, professional sports participation, national and international competition.
- COACH: Any coach with at least five years of service at Stockdale High School. The nominee must be inactive from coaching to be eligible for consideration. Consideration should be based on significant contributions to the athletic programs at Stockdale High School and may include but not limited to those accomplishments that merit area and statewide recognition.
- CONTRIBUTOR: An individual who has made outstanding contributions to the interscholastic athletic programs at Stockdale High School other than coaching or playing.
