Stockdale Receives KCSOS I2S Award

We are happy to announce that Stockdale High School has received the I2S Award from KCSOS for our Innovative and Impactful College and Career Readiness practices which have resulted in a high graduation rate and a high college and career indicator performance level in the years 2018-21. Yesterday morning we had the pleasure to represent Stockdale High School and share our success data about our students and school. Additionally, we were asked to highlight our Grading for Equity work and our NCAA Connection. We were one of four schools in the county awarded the I2S Award at the Instructional Leaders Network meeting.

Stockdale Theater Presents - Bugsy Malone the Musical

BUGSY MALONE THE MUSICAL - Join us March 2, 3, at 7pm and March 4 at 2pm for our spring musical comedy with a lot of heart! This wacky pinstriped classic is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the 1920s gangster films. Admission is $10; doors open 30 minutes prior to showtimes. On March 4 we are hosting a Stockdale Speakeasy Saturday with costume contests, raffle prizes, root beer floats and more at 1:30pm!

Over 60 students have been working as our cast and crew since December for this zany classic that features cream pies instead of bullets and whipped-cream-shooting splurge guns instead of Tommy guns. This musical has a lot of heart reminding us that we can choose to be good guys instead of bad, and that by trusting others and giving a little love it will all come back to you.
