Phase 1: 3/15/21 - Designated students with disabilities return to comprehensive and satellite sites
Phase 2: 3/22/21 - Designated students with disabilities return to comprehensive sites; AND English language learners at comprehensive and alternative sites; AND foster youth and homeless at comprehensive and alternative sites; AND At-risk and high-need students; AND ROC/CTEC students.
Phase 3: 4/6/21- Designated students with disabilities AND all At-risk/High-need students; AND remaining ROC/CTEC students.
Phase 4: 4/12/21 - All Seniors at all sites return to campus.
Phase 5: 4/21/21 - All Freshmen at all sites return to campus.
Phase 6: 4/28/21 - All Sophomores and Juniors at all sites return to campus.
PLEASE NOTE: Distance-learning is still an option if you feel that is best for your student and your family.
The block schedule that has been in effect since the beginning of the 2020-21 school year will remain in effect.
All students will continue receiving free meal service either through daily grab-and-go meals on campus or via drive-through distribution on Mondays and Thursdays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm, and at Arvin High School from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
Transportation will be limited. Bus routes to ROC/CTEC/Continuation sites will be provided from and to the student’s home school. Special education students will continue receiving their current level of service.
The District will continue to follow the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidance for schools, including daily health screenings, hand hygiene, face coverings, and physical distancing. Each school site has its COVID Prevention Plan posted on its website with more details.
School sites will be communicating additional return to school information with parents/guardians in the coming weeks.
